With stunning architecture and sophisticated interiors The Steinhart has recently undergone a total renovation and was featured in House Beautiful magazine. The famed William Sofield who designed for Ralph Lauren and Gucci boutiques designed these spacious and highly stylized apartments reminiscent of a glamorous residence of the 1930's and celebrate the building original architecture supreme contemporary apartments. Each of the studios and one-bedroom apartments are fully furnished and accessorized and has been designed for comfort and style.
Accommodations
The Steinhart Hotel showcases a grand exterior with its original 1910 oversized mahogany and glass entrance doors. Recently designed by William Sofield of Studio Sofield, the newly appointed lobbies are highlighted by marble columns, hardwood paneling and original brass elevator. Apartments are being newly decorated and redesigned to feature an at-home office including a fax machine and Ethernet wireless connection through-out the property.
Each Steinhart Apartment is fully furnished and decorated and comes equipped with linens, housewares and china. Television, VCR or DVD and stereo are included, as are many small appliances. Many apartments have full walk-in closets. Our studios feature a convenient and comfortable wooden based Murphy beds, and the living room of our one-bedroom apartments can be converted to a second bedroom through the use of the also wooden based wall beds.
Housekeeping is included and provided once a week and includes our exclusive in-house wash and fold service for your personal laundry. Our dedicated staff is available to assist you in arranging a variety of services from baby sitting and pet sitting to car rentals, tour booking and week-end getaways. All utilities, including private telephone line and basic expanded cable, are included in the weekly and monthly rent. Free full wireless high speed Ethernet connection is available thru the whole property.
